Welcome to Merryfields Environmental Park

Nestled in Withcott, Merryfield’s Environmental Park is a small but vibrant parcel of land managed by the Wildlife Rescue, Rehabilitation and Education Assoc. (WRREA). As trustees of the park, WRREA ensures the protection and future of this precious community space.

The park provides sanctuary to native wildlife, including the endangered black cockatoo, and offers valuable facilities for environmental education and community engagement.

Merryfield’s Park is more than just a space, it’s a shared responsibility. It supports conservation of local flora and fauna and fosters environmental learning. WRREA’s careful stewardship ensures any use of the space aligns with its ecological goals.

Facilities Available

Whether you’re hosting a workshop, small community event, or simply keen to reconnect with nature, Merryfield’s Environment Park offers;

Main building capacity for small conference, workshops, food prep area.  Wheelchair access and full amenities.  3 bay garage/workshop for nestbox building, etc.

Fenced potting area with automatic watering setup (ideal for growing native or saleable plants)

Raised Garden beds to provide food for wildlife and environmental learning

The park is low-maintenance, with occasional weeding around the creek area, making it a wonderful option for nature-minded gatherings.
